Sitting in my head

For you

Somewhere you float through my head.
You sift through my memories until you fit in,
And when you find a scene that works, you play
on, on
On until every lose sock
Every half drunken glass
Every empty crisp packet sings your name to me.
You are so engraved into my thoughts i can never balance equations, analyse imagery, memorise formulae or recall ancient medicine without you being there, floating somewhere through my head
Flitting from sweet to funny.
I find you sitting in my brain for days.
A vacuum to my dreams.

I'm not really sure what I'm doing with the punctuation, i don't know where i want the stresses
