I’ve been there,

When you’re scared in a corner and all you want to do is cry,

I know that feeling when you don’t know what else to do,

Just know I am here to take you out and hug you,

Scared in a corner of sorrow,

Scared in a corner of loud fighting,

Trying to hide from the disaster,

Hoping it isn’t real,

Praying you’re just in a nightmare,

Feeling depressed from crying so much,

Not knowing what the outcome will be,

Just know there are people waiting to come save you,

You sit there scared in a corner,

Blankets all over your face,

You are a princess,
