Do your best.
When the sands of time have run their course
and life on earth is through.
We’ll stand in judgement all of us
And explain the things we do.
The good things and the bad thiings
will be opened up like books.
The time we, ve spent will travel by
like leaves upon a brook.
How will we then defend our selves
and justify our means.
Were we concearned with others hopes
more than the money in our jeans.
I’d like to think my life was spent
in helping other people.
And remembering God is in our hearts
and not under a steeple.
So when the sands of time have run their course
and life on earth is through.
I hope that I have done my best
like God wanted me to do.
