After the Break Up

You Paint me as Judas
Saying I was the one that changed
When really you were the one who stabbed me in the back
And I bled all the reasons you deserve a second chance

You see I ripped every last part of you out of my smile
It left me scared; and forcing me back down to earth
To realize that you were never an Angel
I saw the crumbing of your pedestal and I was glad to let you fall
Maybe you will fall just as hard as I once fell for you

I treated you like the last drop of water in the Sahara desert
I was good to you.
Maybe too good for you cause you thought you were too good for me
And you left without saying word
They said you were never right for me
That birds of a feather will flock together
What do you when the birds have flown south for the winter
Leaving you there frozen; stuck in the all the false hopes you were given
