Once Again
Everyday the smile
harder and harder
to keep on your face
you can barely
smile for photos
They notice the scars
in the locker room
every body whispers
asking why
you say I couldn’t do it
You come home, cry
sit on the floor
door locked
the demons come out
music blasting
that lovely sliver metal
just in arms reach
you grab it
But you think before you do it
will anybody care
you figure no
you go down the road
instead, across the street
you bleed out
Eyes roll back
Note beside you
In heaven looing down
you see them crying
you think they cared
You wish you didn’t do it
