One side
I see the pain through his eyes as he watches her eyes,
Knowing that he can never and will never give her what she really wants,
And that’s him.
He simply does not feel the same way that she does for him.
He tries his very best, forcing feelings that are not there.
When she said I love you, he couldn’t answer but he lies to her either way,
Reassuring that he loves her too.
I do not want to hurt you, he whispers as he kisses her on the cheek.
She never hears these words she is way to blind to really see.
I see the pain through his eyes as he watches her eyes.
Intertwine in his web of lies that causes him to be in the depth of depression,
That he doesn’t know how he got in or how to get out of.
