We found sunshine,
We knew rain,
discovered laughter,
forgot our pain.
We had our past,
at time felt hell,
we searched hard,
to find ourselves.
Now life is here,
for you and I,
we can look up,
smile at the sky.
Together soon,
It won’t be long,
to hold again,
our love so strong.
It’s hard to love,
we understand,
for we’ve been to,
that unloved land.
The sun shines now,
and life is good,
just like some day,
