To the one I love
In the silence of the night
Is when I find peace to write
Dissecting special moments of the sleeping day
Not wanting to let go but, wanting them to stay
You invade my mind like falling rain
Closing my eyes, I can feel you again
I breath you in...... my secret sin
Your face, an oasis in my desert of longing
Your voice, the echoes I hear in my heartbeat
Your eyes, my sea I want to drown in
Your smile, the shore that always saves me
A forbidden touch, an unseen smile
That says “ I am yours, and you are mine”
A stolen moment, frozen in time
Thoughts of you a thunderstorm in my mind
The world forgotten, reality left behind
Your loving stare, that rescues me
From emotional decay...... wanting you to stay
