If I could ask for something,
I’d ask for grey to become green,
Climb the steepest mountain,
Realize my wildest dream.

Hike and fly to places,
Where no man has ever been,
Dancing to the rhythm,
Of a yellow tambourine.

If I could ask for something,
In this world of brick and dust,
A Sunday for a Monday,
And my heroes from the past.

Finally if I could have,
One of my wishes granted,
For a smile I’d ask for you to wear and love me back.
