Rest
As sleep descends, my soul takes flight
A peaceful rest, my solace at night
But dawn brings with it, a jarring pain
A new beginning, to start again
Reflecting on my past, I seek to learn
And from my experiences, wisdom I earn
For in the struggles that I face each day
Lies the chance to grow, to find my way
So here’s to the journey, the winding road
With each new step, I’ll carry my load
And when the night returns, once more
I’ll find my rest, my soul returns
