Although  it takes very few letters to write out the word FIB, it's written in capital lettering to indicate its power .  In the first stanza the "s" sound is used in words that have aggressive meaning such as "disgrace", "spew", and of course what lying is known for and that is "sin"

Will a person who's talent is fibbing take it to their grave and is that really the way they choose to die and that is what is explained in the second verse.  "If time turns its back on us today", means if you experience death today.

The third stanza challenges those who fib to be truthful . "To await the scold on the day we change our mold" expresses the day we die we morph into our non-physical self and we wait to be judged
