Blank minds of broken hearts
Beautiful start while mapping the dot
excellence, a round of applause why should not
the son is with our daughters
our daughter with our sons
they young but growing
their future, not knowing
they dream but lack to work
when they do they sometimes fall back
they all wanna afford
be someone the sharpest sword
their minds is blank
with the capability of loading their bank
They preschool and school
from primary to high school
to higher institution
this is exactly the step, that serves elimination
departing of their bright future
their offspring’s bread
their family meal
not everyone progress
not everyone progressed will always
this whole thing is unpredictable
but the future exist
live at most not at least
opportunities messed
the bright future released
poverty, hunger not metals but magnetized
corrupted minds
failure corrupts our minds
they think the world is over
they are nothing
hope has gone
that one and was suppose to be last varsity party
that gang joined in high school
that fathers gun stolen
that race in the congested streets
we living it young
we imprisoned young
we young berry our thoughts
left with empty minds
useless we then see ourselves
failure weakens our strength
shorten our length
minimize our life
it is all cut with a single knife
that moment
that vision paused
goal lost
our mistakes break our hearts
empty now is our minds
no clue what to do next
no longer taken cared, no parents
they fail not to be abate
they only notice their future’s fade late
blank is now their minds
their hearts are broken
spirits degraded, future is lost.
