If I could, I would wipe away every unwanted tear that you’ve ever cried
I would protect you with the truth before those words became lies
And if you can’t stand the rain, allow me to be the new addition to your life, not afraid to move clouds aside
Just so you could see the sun shine
If I could, I would be the hope in your dreams
I would protect you from the nightmares of heartbreaks by promising you... me
A prince is just a prince until he has found his queen
In our kingdom of love, I’d give you all of me
The woman who ask for nothing... deserves everything
If I could, I would never allow for those beautiful lips of yours to form a frown
I would be your “up” whenever your down
I would erase anything in your life that has ever caused you strife
I would replace it with love unimaginable and I would make every wrong... right
But then, if I did that, you wouldn’t be the beautiful person that you are today and you wouldn’t be able to appreciate my poetry and what it has to say....
