Mother Earth

Oh Mother Earth, kiss my cheek with your fresh breeze,
you alone belong to yourself while we belong to you.
Preserve us from the evil plans that scar your face,
puncture your heart and anger your great soul.

Oh Mother Earth, keep us at one with you,
as we are part of you, put your love in our eyes
so we can be at one with each other,
which is our only escape from self-destruction.

Oh Mother Earth, breathe life into our strangled souls,
light into our blind eyes, and love into our stone cold hearts.
Show us the way of reverence for you in all your parts
and in all the great circles of our relationships.

Oh Mother Earth, draw us close, let us lie with you in love and
                                                                                              supplication
so we can draw strength again to care
with your hearts, our actions, and not just our words.
Oh Mother Earth, draw us into the blanket of your warm love.
