The unheard wisdom,
the unseen beauty,
the unfelt comfort:
the three great curses of
a deaf, blind, and unfeeling age.

The ever ready anger,
the always flapping lips,
the cold and prideful eyes:
the three great murderers of
a kind society.

The always open ears,
the mostly closed lips,
the always watching eyes:
the three great blessings
that a wise person has.

The always curious mind,
the always humble ways,
the always generous heart:
the three great blessings
that make a functional society.

Let it be that we
hear wisdom,
see beauty,
and feel the comfort
of others.

Let it be that our
anger is rare,
our lips are often still,
and our eyes are childlike
and innocent.

Let it be that we
are always listening,
always watching,
and move our lips
with caution.

Let it be that we
are always curious,
always humble,
and always generous
in our ways.

Let us be
outgoing and inclusive,
a society to be proud of,
the best we can be,
once again.
