I have underestimated the hands of time
My life up till now was all but fine
Throughout my years I thought I was no more than just a dime
Standing with the shadows its my time to shine
There is nothing I won’t do to keep you as mine
Lost in the crowd of a million yet alone in line
No longer young or old the years I’m in is prime
Looking back at the past a thrill runs through my spine
Living with a broken heart should be considered a crime
Released some of the bottled emotions still I feel the grime
Its my pleasure to share with you its my time to dine
Never to stop is the hands of time
I’m more precious than that simple dime
I’m going to smile because its my time to shine
No one elses because you’re all mine
Together or alone I’ll forever stay in this line
My heads in the sky for I’m in my prime
The thrill did nothing but strengthen my spine
My heart is whole no longer a crime!
