Discovered on the plains of deep thought

(I think this is still a work in progress, but I don't see me editing this very soon, so I'll share it now)

He discovered something on a plain within deep thought,
Long after his brain was grown only to rot.
A world he’d turned blank with simplistic execution,
Now ready and fresh to link up casting new resolutions.

It was here that he’d dared himself to ask,
And in doing so he thus laid down his mask…

‘Why’, he wondered ’, is this all that we’ve done and shall do?
Why is it we’re defined by them, me and you?
Why do I punish myself with things I don’t see?
And what does it truly mean to be free?’

No answers came to him in his eyes or his mind,
But he knew that something was out there to find.
By simply trying he was able to detached from the rest,
And thus he set sail through his mind by the heart in his chest.

He held ever so tightly unto his hearts beating,
Through waves crashing, rocking, receding,
As it was, in refusing to let go, he began to grow,
And the waves hit just slightly less hard than before.

The storm in his mind did not quickly disperse,
Nor, he knew, had he seen the last of the worst,
But the eye was upon him and the clouds they did break,
And for a time he hadn’t a need for holding so tightly to fate.

In this glimpse of peace he saw with his very own eyes,
Through the layers of the mist through the teaching and tries,
He saw... Himself... as whole as can be,
Unlabeled and unfathomably deep like the sea,

Undefined by any “Mine’s” ”I’s” and “Me”.
He opened up to the idea that ‘there’s more to life than I see’
He opened and felt like a part of one whole,
Not a fragment of hundreds of billions of souls…

He felt loved, and connected the same as a body to head.
But also understood that there are still more words to be said.
‘These words created long ago, I must use today,
And speak through my ego instead of letting it sit on display.’

The winds then again picked up against his sails and minds door,
But this time he knew he would weather the storm,
And when the waves came back fast with force as before,
He no longer felt the need to cling onto his heart evermore

He understood, from only seeing for a moment,
There was reason to live this life and to own it.
'This Fragment that I’ve chosen to experience,
Seem spiritually symbolic with radiance and brilliance.'

When the time had come for his ship to set shore in conclusion,
And his feet touch sand with simple execution,
He felt inside he had found what he sought,
He discovered something on the plain within deep thought.
