As the angels of love sing
He pulls out a beautiful ring
He gets on one knee and asks “Will you marry me?”
In the middle of the street where everyone can see
The woman knows now why they had came here
So her and everyone else could hear
About the never ending love they shared
And how they were paired
A love that shines so bright
Even in the darkness of night
That was fifty years ago this day
And no matter what people may say
Their love is just as or stronger now
As the couple take their final bow
They are now in the ground as one
Now that their life is over and done
