Born and looked in the face
Something I don’t understand
Can’t live in this place
I can create a star but cant stay up this high?
Walking across a broken ledge as I see them say goodbye

Black and white everything is the same
Be this be that I don’t wanna change
Hated by them all
Looked in the face

Love had a face and so did change
I had to be like them was that so strange?
I could never say “I love you”
Even as you looked me in the face
Your beauty shines for another
I cant take his place
Such an ugly mug why are you so sad?
Being different isn’t all that bad
Waves come in to take everyone whose on board
Coldly stared in the face
I don’t understand
Have I been replaced?
Your loved by many and hated by few
You dated a lot and many more want you
She knew I loved her but she couldn’t love me
Looked in the face
Friends we will always be
Something I will never understand
Can’t stay in this place
Can’t hold her hand
Down for awhile but I got back up
I left to find what I was missing and never gave up
I was promised greatness and change
but all I was given were lies and deception
My life was forced in a different direction
All alone
No one will look me in the face
They don’t understand
I’ve lost myself in a dark place
Wounded angel that keeps doing whats right
Works all day but cant sleep at night
Poor angel tries to help everyone before himself
but has to change his world before anyone else
One day
Happiness and a smile on your face
Someday you will understand
You belong in this place
