I was five years old years ago
Worrying about my dolls and TV
Always annoyed by my sibling
Then I was 10
Worrying about my grandmother dying
And where I was going next
I turned 13
And I was worried about my first relationship
That was my first of many lessons
Then I was 15
Worrying about passing my permit test
About how to pay for my lunch the next day
16 came
I was worried about passing my drivers test
And about my first job interview
Today I am 17
With not a worry in the world
I stand today with a promise of a future,
A job, a car, and friends
I made it, why can’t you?
My dear reader, it’s not over yet
You know, some people fear going back in time
Only to find they drastically changed the future
But have you ever stopped to think...
That maybe you can change the future
With the decisions you make now?
The smallest things can cause a ripple
Ah yes, the butterfly affect
