O,.er the boni doon

O,.er the doon

O.,er the banks
Of the boni doon
Touch and sit by
The slippery moon

O,.er the fields of
The misty  moss
Upon I sit in the
Highland heather
Just like Tam o,,shanter
With kilty warm coats
And porridge oats
Go back doon to the
Warm of my bed and
Sleep in my bothy shed
Where I rest my sleepy
Head,.

O, er the crofty  crag I
Thee bow toss the caber
In the sky .,
To tarten kilts and highland
Seat where all the clans meet
To have a wee dram with haggis
Treets,.

Let’s us all go back to toon
And so sing and dance doon
Main street.
And all fall down in a heep.

O, er the brae let us all stay
And my love sit on my knee
Just for one day in the spring
Of may,.

For the lassie I thee loss
Upon the boni banks of
Loch ness I wish you could
Stay,
But alas I lost my  way that
Day.,
So o, er the boni banks
And the doon the water
I will miss you in lots of
Ways.
