Poetic Desperado

Poetic Desperado,
born of sunrise winds,
moonlight grins, lost Love River streams,
sunset sins and impossible dreams

Poetic Desperado,
heavy-handed with pen,
lost and found again, winning to lose,
losing to win, again and again and again

Poetic Desperado,
Italian suede, Crown of silk,
of faded ilk, broken Id, twilight grin
much manly sin, yet, at heart, just a silly kid

Poetic Desperado,
boy of reason, man of treason,
of empty depth yet, full of vision
steady breezin’, King of every season

Poetic Desperado,
empty boat, side by a lake,
book unopened, dead, floating,
at the base, frozen and swollen straight

Poetic Desperado
of the past unraveled
frozen forest, fork in the road,
white blinks of time, a road less traveled

Poetic Desperado,
Pagan Prince of Nature
man in Nature, nature in Man,
caring not to sky-soar, but for Nature more

Poetic Desperado,
coffee in the valley,
street writer plainly,
brass bed lady, storyteller of society

Poetic Desperado,
where are the girls,
so famously in his time,
coming and going in his shapeless mind?

Poetic Desperado,
addict of effect and affect,
effected addict conflicted,
contradicted, so dastardly medicated

Poetic Desperado,
darkened broken alley blues,
red dancing shoes, a working mule,
such sharp tools to pierce the heart of you

Poetic Desperado,
man improper, a Hadron collider
word transcriber, describer, lyrical barber
of dreamscapes and nightmares together

Poetic Desperado,
page turner
heartbreaker, true faker,
false prophesier saltshaker designer

Poetic Desperado,
colorful eyes in Martian skies,
born to philosophize, write, empathize
in human skin disguise in the nighttime

Poetic Desperado,
born at night, into light,
in the sight of the fright of fools
following Might amongst groups of ivory pools

Poetic Desperado,
less is more, more is less,
bless this mess, the mess of distress
humans possess born in past regrets

Poetic Desperado,
mind is store bought
in a drought of simple thought
with taught white bigots of thoughts forgot

Poetic Desperado,
midnight love,
she walks from above,
earthly Goddess of Love, a baby dove

Poetic Desperado, title of:
Dead Poet,
some in closet, in pocket,
by purple locket, all of sunset

Poetic Desperado,
God of the valley dawn,
spawn of the fawn, gone in the wind,
in your little town kingdom

Poetic Desperado,
Gunslinger King Deschain
aims with hand, shoots with mind,
kills with heart, born torn of worlds apart

Poetic Desperado,
he is you, you is new,
new is glue, glue of you,
adhesive blues, as you see true

Poetic Desperado,
he rides upon a Spanish stallion as he drains the flagon
of time spent in the drainage ditch of true effort and deadly dreaming.
With shoreline in sight, here comes the night
to reconstruct the field-fog of poetry he never described right.

Poetic Desperado!
Stop him! Stop him now! Put him in the ground! Bound him to stone, lay upon the pounds! Shut and kill his sounds, until we hear ring the Fairgrounds of such distraction and subtraction of thoughts and dollars and cares of the wares we give away in tons and tons, on the foot floor of graves of slaves called the elders which we drink to and then let fade, to be forgot! In such times, who needs a Poet Desperado, heels clicking and clacking while talking and walking! We shall settle! Tis’ good enough! Let us kill him at sunrise, on the dot! Gallows for him, where he shall rot! Through deaf pleasure and ignorance, he shall be forgot...
