The Moon
This is to all of the people who always sees things that other people don't and decides not to mirror their friends mistakes.
Her sibling is reckless with the love she holds,
She breaks the life force inside their souls.
They’ll always reside with her up in the sky,
Her dying companions; orbs of colorful fire.
Repulsed like a magnet by the sight she sees,
The moon looks on as her lovers try to flee.
The moon was neglected by her sisters’ love,
Always pushed aside for ancient lust.
She longs for more light; even glowing candle light,
To brighten her darkened world that she tries to fight.
Wanting a love she knows she’ll never have,
Her tears fall from the clouds,
Icy comets that crash to the ground:
The mortals war-ridden realm.
One mortal sees her fragmented tears,
And wishes to take away her fears.
To fill the holes engraved in the dark,
To bind her wounds that fall apart.
The Earth offered her the mundanes heart,
A choice she had all long since forgot.
Desire clawed at her barely-lit soul,
A longing she could barely control.
Remembering the mistakes the Sun had made,
She let his love all but fade away.
She has no regrets about the choice that she made,
A decision to let the young man die of old age.
Finally she is at peace,
As he lies in his rose laden grave.

The sun and the moon symbolizes sisters, and the sun is the bright, out going, gorgeous person that every guys wants to date... but she abuses them and leaves to go on to the next new play thing.The stars are like her collection of hearts of the guys that gave them to her so freely.
The moon is the opposite, sad and alone, pushed away and forgotten by her sister. When the moon finds out that someone loves her for who she is, she's excited and she begins to act like her sister. Sooner rather then later, she declines his love not wanting to end up like her opposite.
The earth doesn't have a gender but you can decide if it is a boy or a girl.
