Repenting Doubt
To myself
Sometimes I wonder
If I’m worth it all
Even while I’m standing tall
Holding my head high, keeping my chin up
While hiding this life that seems so tough
I look back at all I’ve been through
I remember my mother’s trials too
And realize that it has shaped me
Made me who I am today
Brought me to my knees
Opened these blind eyes to see
All of God’s miracles seen and felt
As time passes, as I mature
Within my many roles as a woman
I understand that I am human
Full of mistakes, heartaches and insecurities
I cannot doubt that my God accepts me
He afterall sees....
He sees me, the real me
I am all He created me to be
I have peace and I am content
Because I know each day
I may repent
Each new day is my second chance
A day where in His presence I can dance
