A Somber Sleep

Bon Vivant: One who enjoys the good life.

I lay my wary head to rest, with no more reason to a jest. I’ll close my eyes to all it seems, and have myself those faithful dreams. And for the times shall I wake, there’s nothing left, we’ll have at stake. And when the morning, comes to be, I’ll touch your hand, and you’ll see through me. So my darling, don’t you fret, these fondest memories, we won’t forget.

Ill hold you in, my arms so tight, and we won’t feel sorrow, day or night. You know you are, the bird that sings, as the morning bell, begins to ring. Just close your eyes, and hold my hand, and we’ll dream of our own, merry land. With our great faith, we are never far, we are every shining star. You complete me, and my soul, your what makes, my life whole.

So as you see, it’s all i have, don’t forget, the words I’ve said. Just know you are all to me, and know that we, ARE MEANT TO BE.
