Secret Death Wish

We had the same name

Never seen Julie so upset.
I can still smell mimosa on her breath.
So I’m sorry for the way I nodded out on Christmas morning.
I guess you’ve already mourned my death.

Well I assure you kin I’m live and I’m well.
I guess sometimes it’s seems hard to tell.
Though at least you know I’m safe, locked up in this place.
Having nothing but these thoughts and regrets.

Forgive me now I know not what I’ve done.
Release me now I promise not to run.
But this old dog’s got some rabbit, and if you’ve known an addict...
I’m bound to wanna try and have some fun.

But at least I know where this road will lead.
In Samuel’s home. Our family can’t breathe.
He said
“Don’t tell, but I’m leaving tomorrow.”
Sure as hell looking for a needle and some sorrow.
