Autumn Leaves
Autumn leaves
memories of a past
destroyed by the step of time
that goes away with the wind
in an endless grief
recollection of yesterday
lashed by the passing seconds
that go through everybody
making them wilt
with the ticktock of the clock
until they fall
and are consumed by the earth
giving birth
to a new person
to a new day
to a new season
to a new life.
