A Drought at Close Quarters

A Drought at Close Quarters
The Chinese have reflected the sun
With these Giant Sky Mirrors
As England gets drier and done

Dried up reservoirs and Wells
Fires and burnt out smells
The Chinese are having fun
As England wonders, when the rain will come

England’s become Palm Springs
A Desert now, where it’s natives now, hardly ever drink
It’s December now, no milk left in that, dried up dead cow
It’s Christmas at Forty Degrees, all those Dying Norwegian Trees
