The sun ascends over the horizon, We start a new day
Birds are chirping, Flowers in bloom, soon children up to play
Up with the sun are the old
The young still asleep from a night untold
Mid-day strolls around and heat strikes the Earth
The world comes alive, up & down the streets, smiles and bright eyes
Summer bliss, The people are having this
Everyboy frolicking all around, Laughter and joy are the only sounds
Basketball courts filled with cocky ballers tryin’ to be the best
Until it’s time to rest the game only stops for ass and breast
They holler shrewd things to get her attention
Not caring if she has a boyfriend, Unmentioned
Park benches occupied by lovers holding hands
Exchanging soft pecks on the lips
Summer seems like a season of love hard to resist
BBQ’s and parties on every block
The craze of summer bliss seems non-stop
And when the fun has just begun
Down goes the summer sun
Autumn creeps through and retards the fun
So Summer bliss, until next year it is you I will miss
