You meet
You talk
Its awkward
Its funny
Its pain
Its strength
Every day you guys grow closer
Every moment breaks down the walls
But then somebody comes along
With their ice cold soulless heart
and breaks you guys apart
You fight
You cry
Those hugs become waves
Those waves become glances
Everything is fading
Its fading out of my reach
and there isn’t a single thing I can do to save it
The world is losing its color
Our love is fading
Its fading into the blackness of hell
I’m running to catch it but I’m the only one
You don’t even bother to jog
Its just me
hanging onto nothing yet everything
I’m stuck trying to cling to the last bit of color
from that same old memory
I’m killing myself trying to grasp something that is impossible to hold once again
because we have gone and faded
