The Language Barrier
Really?
I can’t believe that’s how you feel.
After all this time,
I’m shocked, you don’t know the deal.
I guess I gave you too much credit.
You appeared smart, even intelligent.
Wow! Looks certainly can be deceptive...
I must now dial my conversation back,
In order for the friendship to remain in tact.
I will start again and rehearse from the beginning.
Hear now the words that I speak, consider thinking.
Understand the sayings of my speech,
Putting ourselves on the path to peace.
In anticipation of a future most fairer,
Let us break down the language barrier.
