If any time would be the right time,
It would be now.
Before you leave
Before you go
Before your life gets turned upside down.
Now would be the time,
Before we become distant.
Just before the words
Long distance weren’t only spoken
But now real and here.
Even if what this is,
Whatever it is
Becomes a name yet to be spoken.
When we give this a title
Before or after you go.
I just want to know,
Is this the time
Where you’ll speak your mind.
Let me know
What this is made of.
What this can be,
Or whatever we choose it to be.
Now is the time
Of all times
To just let me know
If this is the right time
Right before you go.
