New Sound
New poem, new light,
reborn sunset,
pearl eyes of stars.
Energy—New Mind—Again!
Scars of Defiance,
the bruised brow,
The ancient spell truth,
Electronic Soul—beyond the
natural science of humanity
and into the open sovereignty
of prayer in songs of sorrow
chained to the heart in the choir
of Gospel swords that strike
the Ego of caged thoughts
that blind the soul.
