The Love in a Tear
That man
Who watched over us
Since time for us began
Is no longer physical
Is it selfish
That the gifts he gave us
Are buried
In our own emotions
He bought to our existence
Lessons of life
Views and experiences of the world
So many dimensions
It is nature
That he will always be present
In his children
And their children
See him in a reflection
Smile and say thank you
For the love in that tear
It is his legacy
written as a tribute to the passing of my father and for all other people that miss their fathers
