The Funny Thing This Love

The funny thing is this love.

Many have expressed with words so profoundly. In songs too astounding, in prayer sweetly kept or flung away.
A single way with nouns, verbs, and expressive adjectives in form and rhythm tone.
When the heart has found a home.

Love, Ah! Smile...

Where love’s embraced, where the wounded weep. Silent volumes snuggle beneath the sheets, listening to each other’s triple heartbeat and though they never knew the heart must also bleed, it becomes elementary when lust has lost its course, from looking for love in all the wrong places to finding oneself in all those all too familiar spaces.
Not noticing it staring you in your face, two faces,
Convoluted as it may be and always in plain sight, for all to see.
Oh Love! What’s love if it is meant to be?
Can there be someone more unlovable than thee? Say that can’t be?
All those stories, romanticizing, or novels for fantasizing when your knight in shining armor may never leave the lines on the pages and ride in on love and learn to be loved. Yes!
Yes, Jesus, our teacher, proves there’s no love without pain. The tears wash away those stains that remain for those who haven’t made the significant exchange for love to be loved. Give time its place, there’s no shame, and maybe an awful pain in lies love remains.
It’s one of the many keys to life that can unlock the heart’s door or lock the heart’s door for life.
This funny thing called love resides in jewels’ remedy; most vulnerable. It seems through the world of simplicity and great felt exchange.
Art for life.

Searching for Love in all the wrong places.
