I dream of sheep
I dream of light
I dare to shake the inactive night
Day is coming
Oh so fast,
I wish that I could make it last
Here he comes! The sun!
He’s peaking his head over the hill
Back at his home, I’m sure he’s thrilled
As he rises and dances through the window pane
And he touches the horizon so delicately
He shines his power to me with grace, so elegantly
So I shall rise, just as he wish
And start my day off right
Slip on clothes and I’ll take flight
Of to the meadow
To see the flowers shake in the breeze
Look to see the soaring birds and bees
What is that? A garden snake?
Small and sneaky he slithers by my feet
His movement is graceful and neat
I head back home to see the sun set
For the moon is to come!
He’s my very best friend, unlike the sun
The moon and the stars have lulled me to sleep
And they shine so bright
They drift back into the night
But I must remember, that without the sun
The moon and stars couldn’t shine as bright as they do
You need me like I need you
