The Answer
Stardust twinkles in her eyes
A reflection of her soul
A mosaic of the mysterious, the mystical, the bright
A look from you lights up my everlasting night
A map of stars I use to find my way
Around the maze that is my existence
You are the answer to prayers unspoken
The one to fix what’s broken
Calmly you answer my lament with a song of your own
Each verse voicing words of hope and the promise of a brighter tomorrow
It’s what I listen to to soothe my sorrow
And in your arms i find peace
Because that’s where thoughts of hell and damnation cease.
