Apologetic for a Heartache

Take the longer road to find the safest easiest way out,
And if I could do today, I’d cure your heartache.
We fought the rough sides of one another,
I left slits and pain there in your mind.
And if I could lift you from all entire hurt, I’d cure your heartache.
We moved aside, turned around and  walked away from our connection,
All I have left is everything you’ve given, all you inspire
I’ve taken all offenses, and I’ve accepted my failure
You left remembrance from laughter,
no black and white photographs required
Will I one day reminisce all of it?
And if I could sometime apologize, I’d cure your heartache.
This ought to be my third note, and all I’ve been searching for,
At all times it has been you.
I’m not there today,
I can’t cure your heartache
I tried taking the safest way out, it isn’t always easy,
I need a cure for my heartache.
