I am getting old
I am getting old, watching my old life in the past.
Its in the distance but each day is never my last.
I watch television as they turn back the clocks,
Its like my life is flashing by on Tv my life is on the rocks.
I talk to people far younger than than myself,
They say how are you doing I hope your in good health.
I use to look in the mirror looking at my nice young face,
Now I am getting old my face is an utter disgrace.
I used to be called Dad a few donkeys years ago,
Now its Granddad them years have flown.
Its all about getting old somebody said,
I will have to get used to it till the day I drop dead.
