It was that time in May
It was the biggest day
It was the time for planting
it was not a time for taking chances
It was the time to be quick
It was a time we had to be slick
It was a time to take nothing for granted
It was a time the plants have to be planted
It was a time for seeds to go in
It was a time we couldn’t miss a thing
It was a time we had to do everything
It was a time not a time to be wasted
Because the veg we love to be tasted
