Patti Pan
Good eating, practical someone said you can fry it in a pan.
Tastes great even when it’s stuffed if you can.
Looks really yellow but tastes real good,
You can see it a mile off when its growing in mud.
Cooks like a courgette but don’t get it wet,
Everyone in the family likes it you can bet.
Its called Patty Pan this side of the pond
lovely steamed eaten then all gone
Great in soup easy for freezing
Taste good and very pleasing
Some like to grill them with rosemary and sriracha sauce
Great in a Thai curry both good of course
But to me it looks like a yellow flying saucer,
lost by an alien somewhere from Mars
I’m afraid I wont be eating it nor putting it in a jars

For all the people who do not know what Patti Pan is its a vegetable,
Just doesn't look right to me I wont be eating it
