Reconciled Differences

One foot Behind the other, for a moment I forget about the differences, assumptions and pretenses, for just one breath, a feeling comes alive inside of me, In a single glance I’m shown the meaning behind my strides.

Can’t you see the big picture? my words may not paint the portrait I see, I will try my best to show you through me.

What am I to you? Do you see me as an asset? maybe a benefit? or are your heartfelt words true feelings that run deep?If what you say and feel are chosen out of spite, we don’t share the same eyes and there is no need to play along.

Does it bother you that I am not bitter? Remember when you close your mind and open your mouth, your words and actions are contradicting, regardless of your differences, I push to love unconditionally.

I know I’m imperfect and in your eyes you may be so much better than me, unless you open your heart you will never view family the way it is meant to be seen.

Stand beside me, look at the beauty in each being, forget about their flaws, there is a part of everyone you see that is a direct piece of me.

Family isn’t feuds and love isn’t a chore, although you carry a hefty flame, and you choose to close every open door, my hand will always remain extended waiting until you are ready to hold out yours.

There is something crucial to be learned, you don’t like the people I love, each of them have something deeper to offer, you would be astonished if you would only open your eyes to the love.

You say EVERYTHING God created is perfect, so why do you feel the need to hold a forty year old grudge? .

Sit back for a moment and in one breath, think about the ability to see each and every person you love together, laughter surrounds you and you will realize the burden of bitterness you have carried is nothing more than a smudge in the mud.

I believe God created perfection in all beings, and their is even a piece of you I carry with me. and the next time you face your “enemy” you’ll see a part of me.

When you are brave enough to extend your hand and acknowledge who I am, I will love you equally!

I've seen many family feuds , even with in my own , this is common among all families , but wouldn't it help , if there were just one person to find the happy medium? to bring everyone together , to teach others how to co exist , we may not lead the same life style , but it is so much easier to love !
