I set foot on a barren field of dirt
Mumps of grass grown set apart
Dry air greets like hard timber
Of sapping heat never been kinder
A whispered hope, a new beginning to conquer
To find promised nectar only that matter
Not worried nor altered my gait
But aura of red that finally I can have it
Oh’ good Lord my prayers you granted
In much joy your holy name I exalted
Struggles that been through wasn’t worthless
At the end of the line, I seen success
Time comes to pay homage
To this place before I leave
I’ll cross leaving no prints
But in my heart, you stain me a lifetime ink
Surely the vast of sand will be missed
The enchantment in my heart you made
Like that of pinions and juniper you grow
You may in lifetime evolve and glow.
