My Hospital Bed

As that date rolls around again
I feel more and more tempted to be sucked back in
A line here and there couldn’t hurt?
But I know it wouldn’t just be a few, it would be much more
I’d become addicted and find myself in trouble
Till some other tragedy has arrived and ends
Then I’ll be shipped off again
Surrounded by the same bland hospital
