The Uncertain Mind
Woke up with a sore headache,
Head paining with emptiness.
Blank thoughts enveloping the head.
Who I am?

Tried reading books and novels,
Tried writing pages and pages,
Tried playing guitar and songs.
Tried all of the named hobbies.
Who I am?

Still the emptiness persists
Still my heart insists,
Through distracting oneself
With hundred thoughts; no use.
Darkness devouring the nerves
Uncertainty of oneself sabotaging my blood.
Finally, one remarkable day,
Lights were on.
All the lights couldn’t put out the dark
Running through my heart with no answers.
Lights on,
They know who you are,
Lights off,
They don’t know who you are,
Know who you are
