to US as we struggle to love through the pain and hurt but know there is a future that has the gift of love in it for US.
The Gift
I never guess if we are meant to be
I will continue to love you til you see
There are no doubts in my heart
But your doubt of my love and my selfishness keeps us apart
I wont wait for tomorrow even if I have to borrow
You for this moment because I am the only proponent
Who believes that our love defines what lies in the future
And no one will be the prosecutor, disputer, or polluter
as long as I am the institutor
of this university of inculcation
we can grow together to be an inspiration
to the ones who has to dig through there own excavation
of doubt, trust issues and heartbreak.
I own my rights and wrongs so I long
To make this right so our life
can be rid of the all the strife
this doubt that I caused which is defined as no confidence
will prove our love someday will be evidence
That there is relevance
To destroy such pestilence
Of how the belief of Love is truly the greatest gift
That will lift
Any weight or thought of not being loved
The way you deserve, you will not reserve
Only conserve
Every moment of your time, not to define, just to refine
Your thoughts of this life
Celebrating being loved as my wife.
