Soft gray clouds pass slowly by,
Soon they will release a gift of rain.
Trees are shedding their leaves
As they turn red, orange and yellow,
Signaling the squirrels to collect nuts
For the quiet of winter,
A time to turn within
And be with all things.

Beautiful. You can see I’ve been away for a while, but’s it’s quite refreshing to return, and read your poetry. Always enjoy it.
