Red sun in the morning
rolling up the side of earth.
The sky turned pink,
as a ball of fire
showed it’s strength,
a healing light to the world.
Red Bird sitting
on a branch,
among a sea
of swaying trees.
Singing as if his song
were the only sound.
Red is my heart
as it embraces the day,
as it opens to sing
with red bird,
all day long.

Always thankful for another day, and the gift of life. This was very pleasant to read.
The way you describe it is very nice.
