I release you
There is no need for pain or guilt
There is only the Tao, rightful flow, and although now this current drifts us into different directions
We are still share the same waters, in the river of life
And I am glad
And the dance we danced was what it was, beautiful, brief and yet timeless
But I am glad to have danced it with you
And will always carry it in my heart, as a moment I was lucky enough
to touch your soul
I release myself, from all hurt, self doubt and attachment
and ask only for the chance to continue to be a light in your life
For there is already enough dark, and we need not be that for each other
We we’re allies, and can still be so
I wish only to bring a smile to your lips, and add laughter to your heart
And all the playful kinship, the silliness and sharp vision, I hope to keep that with you
I release us
from the weight of our past
And ask for the light to lift us both, into the NOW, and hold us on our journeys
I will always hold you in my heart
