Into The Abyss
Darkness surrounds me
death knocking at my door.
Extensible fear consumes me
obliterating a life that is no more.
Evilness lurks around me
proclaiming possession of my soul.
No where to run, no where to hide
swept into the abyss below.
My skin is burning
excruciating pain so fierce!
Screams of sheer terror surround me
unexplainable intense fear.
No Savior to call on
now it is too late.
Death came knocking at my door
I met my destiny, my faith.
Too late for repentance
no forgiveness for my sins.
Contemplating on my life
that brought me to this end.
The flesh was too strong
my heart was too weak.
I gave into its desires
“oh God what happened to me?”
A troubled mind consumed with fear
a life wasted to Him that was so dear.
He looks down on me, tears fall from His face.
“God I am sorry, what happened to my faith?”
